Spectator Entrance

Fans for the showcase will be able to enter through our large entrance gate. We offer not two, but three gates heading into our stadium. There are two windows for selling tickets and the gate to the right of the ticket booth will be for presold tickets only. A pass gate not pictured here will allow band members and staff a way to get in and out of the facilities.

Band Bus Parking

Parking for bands and their equipment vehicles is available at our middle school. Housed on the same campus as the high school, the lot offers a close, but not so close, atmosphere for your members. Restrooms are available for use along with our Driscol Music Repair Center if any emergency needs attention. The lot is adjacent to the warm up area.

Warmup Area A & B

We have a very large rehearsal area for you to strech out and prepare for your competition. In the background of this picture, you can see the parking lot of our middle school. From there, bands will warmup in Area A and then will have time to march on a fully lined field in Area B. These areas are close to the stadium, but far enough away to not disturb the performances in the stadium. There is a 10 minute walk to the starting gate.

Parking & Band Flow

Parking for spectators is available in the South Parking lot of the Stadium, in the three lots in front of the school, in the elementary lots to the right of this street, and on the streets in Amherst. Spectators may also park down Washington, however, bands will be coming up this street from the warmup area to report to the gate.

Band Flow & Entrance

Bands will enter the South parking lot of the school and continue around to the South Entrance of the stadium. This area is reserved for bands and pit entrances only. As you can see, the gate is large enough for the biggest of props. From here, bands will enter the field from the back stage left.

Stadium Seating

As you can see, we have a large stadium with a somewhat high pressbox. There are also bleacher seats on each side of the reserved section for overflow if needed. Behind the set on right is our concession stand. The press box windows open fully and big garage doors go up to allow for full viewing and video recording.

Exit the Field

Bands, pit, and props will exit stage left and continue through the gate on the left hand side of the stadium. Bands will then continue on this sidewalk back to the busses to complete a full circle from start to finish. When students are done putting equipment and uniforms away, They may re-enter the stadium through the pass gate to the right of this photo..
