Weekend Trip to Fort Rapids Waterpark

Saturday, October 8th
11:30 AM Report to Steele High School
                       (Band - Black Shoes, Pants, Band T-Shirt)
                       (Auxiliary - Black Shoes, Band T-Shirt, Warm-ups)
                       (All - Garment Bag and Hat Box on the bus)
12:00 PM Depart for Columbus
2:30 PM Arrive at Fairfield Inn Polaris
                       (Take 71 to the Gemini Plaza. 1 Exit before Polaris)
                       (Turn left on Gemini, Turn right on Orion and follow to the Hotel
3:00 PM Check into Hotel - See room captain BEFORE heading to rooms
4:30 PM Dinner provided by the Amherst Band Boosters (Joe and Tina Schulin)
5:30 PM Show Begins!
6:30 PM Depart in Hotel in FULL UNIFORM
7:30 PM Basic Block Marching Warm-up (Do not play)
8:00 PM Playing Warm-up and Rehearsal in area (Pit should be with the band!)
8:25 PM Band Line up and report to the Starting Gate
8:35 PM Starting Gate (Do not talk....Must not talk....BE Quiet!)
8:45 PM Enter the field for Competition
9:30 PM Award Ceremony-Drum Majors Only
10:00 PM Depart for Hotel
10:30 PM Arrive at Hotel - Free Time
11:00 PM Room Curfew - Doors are marked with tape to show if they have been opened.!
12:00 AM Lights OUT!

Sunday, October 9th
6:30 AM Wake-up
7:00 AM Freshman Breakfast (Eat first, then shower, pack and load belongings)
7:45 AM Sophomore Breakfast (Eat first, then shower, pack and load belongings)
8:30 AM Junior Breakfast (First shower, pack, load belongings, and then eat)
9:15 AM Senior Breakfast (First shower, pack, load belongings, and then eat)
9:45 AM Begin check out procedures.
10:00 AM Check out of Hotel and Depart for Zoo
10:30 AM Enter Fort Rapids Waterpark
12:00 PM Lunch on your own at Concession Stand
5:30 PM Depart for Home
6:30 PM Dinner on your own at Fast Food Restaurant
9:00 PM Arrive at Steele High School and unload
